Two More Trails Under Construction To Be Completed Soon
On August 1, workers began pouring concrete for the latest addition to the Westchase District trail system, the Westpark Trail. Wilcrest Improvements to Begin in July
Westchase District motorists who use Wilcrest will enjoy the new improvements coming to the Wilcrest/Westheimer intersection. More than 80,000 vehicles travel through this busy intersection every day and the many possible turning movements that occur immediately north of the intersection can slow traffic and cause considerable congestion. Student Art Adorns Benches along Brays Bayou Connector Trail
Art students from Elsik High School in the Alief Independent School District have been studying the concept of sacred geometry and recently turned their own geometry designs into mosaic tiles that are incorporated into concrete seat walls along Westchase District’s Brays Bayou Connector Trail.
