Westchase District's Trailside Park received a significant upgrade with the installation of a ZipKrooz, the first new trail amenity designed specifically for kids and teens. The ZipKrooz allows children to safely and smoothly glide back and forth along a 30-foot track surrounded by soft mulch. Westchase District unveiled its newest -- and biggest -- mural at a celebration attended by city officials, first responders and community leaders. The "Harvey Heroes" mural, created by artist Larry Crawford, pays tribute to the first responders who rescued so many people stranded by high water in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. On August 1, workers began pouring concrete for the latest addition to the Westchase District trail system, the Westpark Trail.
