Opening in early 2025 at 2951 Wilcrest Drive, Camden Park will have many features of Woodchase Park, plus a multi-purpose pavilion, separate dog parks for large and small dogs, and an onsite restaurant. Trails
Westchase District’s trail system begins at Westheimer immediately east of Houston Community College and continues to Art Storey Park south of Bellaire. Multiple underpasses allow users to travel the entire 5-mile length of the trail with only three street crossings. Along the beautifully landscaped trails, you’ll find exercise stations, a self-help bike repair station, emergency phones and informational spikes that detail the history and ecology of the area. The Library Loop Trail features a butterfly garden, Little Free Libraries and one-of-a-kind murals created by local artists. A unique Corten steel bridge has been installed across the canal at Library Loop Trail and will offer handicapped accessible access to Camden Park when the park opens in 2025. The trails are maintained by Westchase District staff and patrolled by law enforcement officers working for the Westchase District Patrol.
