Approaching its first year anniversary, Sneed Dog Park will truly be for dog lovers on Saturday, Feb. 12. That’s when Pawlentine’s Day will be celebrated at the park. “Westchase District is home to many pet owners,” said Kelly Aylesworth, Westchase District’s maintenance director in charge of planning the event. “We want to celebrate the special companionship between dogs and their owners, two days before Valentine’s Day. Many of our residents have dogs and we planned this event especially for them.”
Scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon, Pawlentine’s Day activities include:
- Puppy Love Dog Kissing Photo Booth
- Dog Treats and Giveaways from Blair Johnson Wellness
- True Love Costume Contest
- Local Vendors (Doggy Moma)
- Dog Park Fun and Games
Opened in February 2021, Sneed Dog Park is located at 9855 Pagewood Ln. next to Sneed Elementary School’s playground. Pawlentine’s Day is free and open to the public. View Pawlentine’s Day flyer.
