COMMUNITY TOWN HALL: PERFORMANCE VENUE

Please plan to join Westchase District staff members on Wednesday, October 2 for one of two Town Hall meetings on the District’s initiative to build a performance venue in Westchase District.

You can help answer questions like: Where would the venue be built? How large would it be? What kind of performances would be featured? Would the venue be available for private rentals?

We don’t know the answers to those questions yet, but that’s why we have engaged TheatreDNA and Assembly Arts to study the area, seek community input and make recommendations for the best venue size and type for Westchase District.

Please be part of that process on October 2. We’ll have one meeting between 10 a.m. and 12:00 pm. A second meeting will be held between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Both meetings will be at the Tracy Gee Community Center, 3599 Westcenter.

We’ll have free snacks, activities for kids, a selfie station and informational boards. There will also be interactive stations where you can engage with the consultants and give your opinion on what kind of venue you’d like to see in Westchase District.
