  • Jobs – The District is a major employment center. Many of the world’s largest companies have offices here.
  • Shopping – Westchase District has more than 2 million square feet of retail space, so you don’t need to leave the area to accomplish your banking, grocery shopping, or dry cleaning.  Plus, it’s just minutes to the Galleria, CityCentre, Memorial City Mall and Sugar Land Town Center.
  • Amenities – The District is home to a wide range of restaurants and types of cuisine.  Both the Royal Oaks Country Club and Lakeside Country Club offer upscale homes and world-class golfing opportunities.  We have the Robinson-Westchase Neighorhood Library, plus jogging trails that lead to Art Storey and Terry Hershey parks.

  • ChurchesWestchase District is home to eleven churches, which provide a variety of faith-based services to the community.
  • Healthcare – Two major hospitals are within minutes of Westchase District: Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital is located at I-10 and Gessner, while West Houston Medical Center is located on Richmond at West Houston Center Boulevard.  Both offer a full range of high quality medical services, making it unnecessary for West Houston residents to travel to Houston’s Medical Center for healthcare services and doctors appointments.
  • A high level of public safety – Westchase District hires off-duty Houston Police Department officers to supplement the police patrols provided by the City of Houston.  The District has also installed surveillance cameras at major shopping centers and restaurants.
  • Public transportation – We have two Park & Ride lots and 10 METRO bus lines to get you where you’re going quickly, without an automobile.  Many area companies subsidize their employees who take advantage of METRO’s van pool program.
  • Easy access – Westchase District is located at the West Sam Houston Tollway and Westheimer with easy access to the rest of Houston and both major airports from Beltway 8, I-10, US 59 and the Westpark Tollway.
  • Events – Westchase District sponsors a weekly Farmers Market, offering fresh produce and other locally-produced products.  Other seasonal events include Taste of Westchase and  Wonderland in Westchase.
